As a flurry of shows, parties, and presentations swept New York on Sunday, multi-brand concept store ESSX, fashion commentator Wesley Breed, and CULTURED welcomed style enthusiasts downtown. A candid conversation spanned the state of fashion media, the future of print, and how influence can be harnessed online today, sponsored by G&B Digital Management, Breed’s talent agency. The panelists—including style expert Wisdom Kaye, CULTURED Director of Brand and Events Ian Malone, and ESSX fashion manager Abe Chávez—revealed their insider tips for navigating an often opaque industry.

The Occasion: Wesley Breed, ESSX, and CULTURED convened a panel of fashion professionals across retail, digital channels, and publications to embark on a deep dive of the content ecosystem and state of fashion perception today.

What You Missed: A vulnerable and open discussion about the shifting scales of power in fashion media, as the industry landscape looks toward the future of digital culture’s place in the sector’s development.

The Locale: The sleek, downtown concept store ESSX, frequented by the Lower East Side’s fashionably plugged-in.

The Crowd: The panel presented by G&B Digital Management introduced masters of online influence to those with IRL pull. Guests included META Fashion Partnerships Manager Larissa Gargaro, tastemakers Elliot Duprey and Linh Truong, commentator Ethan Tran, former Vogue Singapore Editor-in-Chief Norman Tran, designers Rebecca Lipsitch and Simon Goldman, and writer Kieran Press-Reynolds.

Cause for FOMO: The event offered a rare reprieve from the bustling schedule of fashion week demands, while offering an enriching perspective from seasoned insiders on how digital fashion content can translate to real-life success.
