“I had always heard of Presley [Oldham] because all my girlfriends, who are also actors, had these beautiful, raw pearl necklaces and earrings,” says Louisa Jacobson, who co-hosted the jewelry designer’s New York Fashion Week event last Friday. “I was always so jealous, like ‘Why do you have all these beautiful pieces and I don’t?’” The actor got lucky and was featured in Oldham’s latest campaign—alongside Oh, Mary!’s Julian Manjerico—where she can be seen unloading her relationship woes to a W New York – Union Square hotel room service concierge. At the hotelier’s Union Square location, Jacobson arrived last week with a stack of new, diamond-encrusted silver bands on her hands, while the designer joined her in circling the room.

The Occasion: The launch of Oldham’s fine jewelry pieces, which, alongside Jacobson’s rings, feature a slew of organic shapes hanging from necklaces, waist bands, and bracelets.

The Locale: The W New York hotel’s most decadent lounge, complete with sky-scraping ceilings and a blooming photo backdrop that will rival the week’s best party setups.

The Crowd: Across the expansive space, Oldham and Jacobson could be spotted making the rounds with Drag Race’s Kerri Colby, hairstylist Jonathan Van Ness, designer Christopher John Rogers, actor and artist Arewà Basit, designer Adam Charlap Hyman, The Gilded Age’s Ben Ahlers and Amy Forsyth, Luca Guadagnino-approved rising star Lio Mehiel, and more.

Memorable Moment: Oldham told us the story behind his smooth new silver pendants: “We took a cast of this rock that sat on my grandmother’s desk. It’s a worry stone that she would hold in her hand. We made a cast of it and then remolded it.”

Parting Gift: Attendees received a slew of skincare products from Macrene Actives, the MD line touted by Moda Operandi’s Lauren Santo Domingo and Khaite Creative Director Cate Holstein. Oldham told us of fashion week, “I anticipate not sleeping.” These eye masks may prove the antidote for us all.
