The Occasion: Has your summer had enough Haymarket Check yet? Burberry hosted a Hamptons poolside pop-up complete with tartan pillows, hand-squeezed lemonade, and exclusive accessories to ensure guests got their fill.

The Locale: Attendees arrived at the Topping Rose House on the South Fork of Long Island—a refined escape complete with white columns and a wellness spa. Oh, and did we mention the Jean-Georges dining?

The Crowd: The crowd was fittingly well-dressed in an array of checks. Among the fray were entrepreneurs Joey Wölffer and Ella Rose McFadin, models Molly Sims and Jourdan Sloane, photographer Sophie Elgort, fashion lawyer Elizabeth Kurpis, and celebrity trainer Isaac Boots.

Parting Gift: Anyone can tan and lounge by the pool, but only Topping Rose House guests did so while floating in checked pool floats and matching poolside accessories. Or after perusing the house’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection.

Cause for FOMO: At a safe distance from the chlorine, attendees got their pick of equine silhouettes like the Burberry Horseshoe and Highlands bags, plus an exclusive preview of the Bridle clutch, which made its debut on the London runway last winter. The weather may be cooling off soon, but while lounging poolside, the British house is already thinking a season ahead.
