What could be a more fitting way to kick off San Francisco's FOG Art Fair than a gathering that highlights the best in fashion, art, and innovation?

CULTURED and the luxury fashion house Bottega Veneta, in partnership with Four One Nine and Day One Ventures, hosted an exclusive sun-soaked luncheon for art-world insiders, tech titans, and influential creatives ahead of last week's FOG fair. The intimate gathering at CULTURED Young Collector Sonya Yu’s Four One Nine space, a creative studio and agency designed to enrich San Francisco's art ecoysystem, set the tone for the week ahead. Guests included CULTURED’s Editor-in-Chief Sarah Harrelson, CULTURED Power Art Advisor Sabrina Buell, Wishlife Founder and CEO Ben Weisshaut, and collectors Komal Shah and Pamela Hornik.

After enjoying welcome drinks, attendees wandered through the 3,300-square-foot open studio, where works by French-American artist Sarah Meyohas, who is known for merging art and tech in clever, thought-provoking ways, were on display. The airy space—an effortlessly chic converted warehouse—was the perfect backdrop for mingling and art-viewing.

Guests were then guided to the rooftop garden for lunch, courtesy of Chef Gerardo Gonzalez. Seated around a table adorned with purple, red, and white anemones, attendees tucked into dishes including Dover sole with beurre blanc and wilted spinach; roasted chanterelles with smoked eggplant, coconut oil, and cashews; and a tangerine pie with marigolds that had a few guests reminiscing about Joe’s Key Lime pie at Art Basel Miami Beach

As the sun dipped lower and the conversation flowed, the afternoon felt like the perfect prelude to FOG: relaxed, intimate, and full of creative energy—proof that art fairs in San Francisco can be as stylish and easygoing as they are inspiring.
