Members' clubs are the talk of the town this season, and this Californian brand took note for its Paris Fashion Week showing.

Amiri’s Autumn/Winter 2025 runway took place in Club Amiri, a retro Hollywood joint imagined for the occasion. Filled with the likes of Lucky Blue Smith, Becky G, and other front-row staples, the space came alive as the brand's first-ever womenswear collection made its debut alongside the season’s menswear.

Creative Director Mike Amiri, a Los Angeles native, aimed to celebrate the enduring allure of his hometown with this season's collection of sharp jackets and dramatically undulating dresses. “Hollywood is where you go to dream, where people go to build, and to rebuild,” he said in a statement. “This collection is a homage to Hollywood and to Los Angeles, a celebration of the city I call home—a collection filled with optimism, dreams and love.”

Everything—from the location’s setting, cast in a moody, warm lighting to the designs models sported on the runway—was imbued in Hollywoodian nostalgia. Timeless pieces with a more buttoned-up feel followed perfectly modern silhouettes and a more contemporary showing of skin. Amiri also drew his inspiration from the rich and dark-hued interiors of iconic locales including the Formosa Café and Chinese Theatre's lobby (traces of which can be seen in the line’s embellishments and jewelry).

The brand’s signature Californian ease—originally pulled from the skate and music culture Amiri grew up steeped in—hasn’t been lost but matured. Even skaters occasionally indulge in glamour. The tailoring is polished and neckties (seen on both him and her) are layered over high-slit pencil skirts or flowing ochre trousers.

And fear not, Amiri’s beloved unstructured silhouettes live on in the ever-so-cool slouch of his knitwear, given touches of crystal embroideries for extra flair. The palette is dark, but vibrant. Think merlot burgundies and greens, rich espresso browns, and mint.

And what’s Hollywood without a touch of romance? A rose motif punctuates the collection, whether it's printed, knitted or embroidered into womenswear pieces, with real 24-karat gold blooms. Accessories, including eyewear (a new addition for Amiri) are adorned with gilded Art Deco-inspired detailing. The affect of Amiri’s collection is similar to the best of film history: both heart-wrenchingly nostalgic and boldly modern.
