This year’s Dallas Art Week kicked off with an intimate lunch co-hosted by Heather Kaminetsky, the North American president of the luxury online shopping destination Mytheresa, and Sarah Harrelson, CULTURED’s editor-in-chief. Yesterday, entrepreneur Flauren Bender invited visitors—including Caitlin Lonegan, Danié Gómez-Ortigoza, Meghan Looney, Karen Katz, and Stephanie Seay—to her Dallas home. Guests were ushered into Bender’s sun filled abode hung with notable abstract and figurative works.

With cocktails in hand, attendees were invited to shop Mytheresa’s Spring/Summer collection, replete with curated designs for the start of gala season and perfect for this week's festivities. An array of statement handbags and dresses in bold, declarative prints were on display, ready to be whisked away in Mytheresa’s trademark yellow packaging. The selection also included Harrelson’s “art fair edit,” which features a number of fair-ready pieces from minimalist brands including The Row, Khaite, and Loewe.

After perusing the selections, guests were seated for light spring meal. Around a table adorned with lush floral arrangements from Brad Duren Flowers, the group of collectors, tastemakers, board members, and female founders raised their glasses to the coming week of events.
