When the latest edition of Paris Men’s Fashion Week arrived this June, it felt natural to find Pierce Abernathy amidst the global fashion cabal’s traveling circus. The chef, model, and leader of an 830,000-strong community across Instagram and TikTok is a signifier of curated cool wherever you may find him. Parisian locals might’ve spotted Abernathy grabbing fresh fruits at La Récolte Faidherbe, or biking through his beloved 11th arrondissement between engagements (in loafers, no less). His playful spirit is a natural fit for Dior’s latest wares, designed for the first time by newly appointed Creative Director Jonathan Anderson.

CULTURED accompanied Abernathy as he immersed himself in Dior’s meticulous artistry this season. Take a peek behind the scenes at the look he donned for the occasion and at his exclusive insights into the journey toward a historic show.

“I was thrilled to be in Paris for the Dior Summer 2026 show, and I couldn’t wait to see what Jonathan Anderson has in store for his first collection.”

“I was obsessed with the invitation. I heard Jonathan speak about it–it’s a reference he pulled from the archives. Eggs are a symbol of beginning, and I loved his historical references throughout the whole collection.”

“I loved the look I wore. It was casual, and reminded me of a shirt that Steve from Blue’s Clues wore. It’s always nice to go to a show and feel comfortable.”

“Dior details! I loved the logo and the woven leather belt. The pieces felt very authentic and timeless.”

“The coffee doesn’t feel as strong when I’m in Paris. I need at least two coffees before I start the day and another one or two to keep me going throughout the day.”

“The produce in Paris is some of the best. It’s always inspiring to walk around the markets. I even found a melon to match.”

“Luckily didn’t drop any.”

“I love to stay in the 11th. There are so many incredible markets and restaurants. It’s one of my favorite places to walk around in Paris.”

“One of my favorite parts of the look was this timeless loafer. It felt modern and classic at the same time, and who knew it would make for great biking?”
